Welcome to Eagle Cardiology
A cardiologist is a specialist trained in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the heart and circulatory system. Cardiologists examine patients and use a variety of diagnostic procedures to make a diagnosis and determine what treatment(s) are appropriate to effectively manage the patient's cardiac problem.
Diagnostic testing performed by cardiologists may include ECGs (sometimes called EKGs), stress tests, event/holter monitoring, echocardiography, nuclear imaging and cardiac catherization. Treatment options range from lifestyle modification and drug therapy, to interventional procedures such as angioplasty.
Eagle's board-certified cardiologists provide comprehensive, compassionate and up-to-date cardiac care for adults. Your family physician or internist will arrange a referral if you need to be seen by an Eagle cardiologist.
